Students' Fall Expos section assignments are now official. If you have been placed in a section that conflicts with your schedule, the Writing Program office is accepting Section Change Requests on the second floor of One Bow Street at the following times:
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
All section change requests must be made in person....
Students who are interested in taking Expos 20 in a different term may come to the Harvard College Writing Program office on the second floor of One Bow Street to complete and submit a Term Change Request Form at the following times:
Sign-ups for Expos Studio 10 Advising are open as of Tuesday, August 22. All students who are recommended for Expos Studio 10 are required to attend an advising session. Any students who are recommended for Expos 20 and interested in taking Expos Studio 10 are encouraged to sign up for an advising session as well.

How to Read and Write in the Sciences Monday, March 6, 2017 3:30-4:30 p.m. Lamont Library, Room B30
There are important differences in how writers in different disciplines communicate their ideas. Find out how writing in the sciences differs in terms of style, organization, and the use of sources and evidence. Learn the fundamentals of reading articles in the sciences. Know the right questions to ask in order to determine what your professor expects from a research paper in a science or social science course.
To apply for any of the 5 sections of Expos 40 taught by Margie Zohn, David Carter, and Kate Clarke, please come to the Writing Program office to complete an application. (The location is One Bow St, 2nd floor, in Seminar Room #217.) Applications will be available from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, January 23, and again from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24.
